Tournament Details
The rate of play will be 42 moves in 1 hour 45 minutes at which point the clocks will be set-back 15 minutes and the rest of the game completed in the remaining time.
The Chief Controller's decision shall be final in all matters.
Players are entitled to request a half - point bye in any round before the start of the tournament.
Venue
The Congress this year will be held at the central but relaxingly secluded Endsleigh Centre on Beverley Road it is 10-minutes journey from the city centre. Many buses from out of town pass the centre on their way into Hull from Beverley, York, Bridlington, Hornsea and Scarborough. For motorists there is ample car parking at the rear and the post code is HU6 7LJ for those with sat navs. For all information and booking call the Endsleigh Centre on 01482 342779 mentioning you are playing in the congress.
