DIRECTIONS
By car: The KC Stadium can be accessed from Anlaby Road (A1105) near
the Carnegie Heritage Library. If
travelling from the north of the city, follow the A1079 down to Hull
City Centre and turn right onto Anlaby
Road and follow the road down until the junction at the end of the
flyover. (If travelling from the east or west
of the city exit the Clive Sullivan way at Rawling Way heading towards
Hull Royal Infirmary, turn left at the
junction (taking you westbound) and follow the road down over the
flyover.) At the junction at the end of the
flyover, turn left (onto Walliker Street), turn left again (onto
Carnegie Street), and left again (back onto Anlaby
Road). Follow the road down past the West Park Hotel and under the
flyover. Then turn right, and then left
into the car park. The playing area is opposite. (Look for the Viking
FM sign above the door.)
By public transport: Hull Trains, National Express and other train
companies provide a regular rail service
into Hull Interchange. Stagecoach and East Yorkshire operate regular
services down Anlaby Road.
(Examples include Stagecoach No.2 and East Yorkshire 66 and the 150
services). The fare is currently
£1.20 for a single ticket. You need to get off at Walliker
Street, cross Anlaby road and walk through the park
to the South side of the Stadium. (If you prefer to walk from the city
centre, it will take about 20 minutes
along Anlaby Road). (Look for the Viking FM sign above the door.)
